Bellamy Investment Group Properties (BIG PROPS & BIG Realty) are family-owned and operated businesses, conceptually founded 20 years ago by Daniel and Tinna Bellamy. The journey began when Daniel, after starting his banking career with Wachovia Bank, and Tinna, who works in the healthcare industry and is a licensed Realtor, decided to invest in real estate to build passive income for their retirement.

 

They leveraged their combined work experiences to offer unique services. Their first investment was their home, where they rented a room to a family member. Later, they bought property for their daughter and her friends to rent while she attended ECU. With Tinna's real estate license, they expanded their portfolio, initially renting to college and hospital employees and later to other industries such as construction, mental health, and IT.

 

This organic growth led to a specialized rental service that filled a significant housing gap in the market. As their success grew, family and friends sought their help in building passive income. They began by assisting their daughters and close friends with their first rentals and later managed these properties to maximize income and minimize damages.

 

Today, BIG PROPS offers a range of vertically integrated services that complement their core business, including realtor services, light renovations, and investment consultations. Their goal is to continue building passive income for future generations, creating a lasting legacy for their family and others.
