Bellamy Investment Group Properties (BIG PROPS & BIG Realty) is a family-owned real estate investment company founded by Daniel and Tinna Bellamy. Although officially established in recent years, the vision began more than 20 years ago when they set out to build long-term wealth through strategic real estate investing and passive income.

Daniel began his career in banking with Wachovia Bank, while Tinna built her career in healthcare and became a licensed Realtor. By combining their financial expertise, industry knowledge, and passion for real estate, they developed an investment strategy focused on creating sustainable income and long-term financial security.

Their journey started with a simple idea—turning their own home into an income-producing asset by renting a room to a family member. As their experience grew, they purchased another property to house their daughter and her classmates while attending East Carolina University. This success inspired them to expand into investment properties, serving college students, healthcare professionals, construction workers, IT specialists, and other workforce housing needs.

As their portfolio expanded, BIG PROPS identified a growing demand for quality rental housing and developed a unique approach to property investment and property management. Their commitment to providing reliable housing while maximizing investment performance helped establish the company as a trusted partner for both property owners and tenants.
 

Over time, family members, friends, and fellow investors began seeking guidance on how to build passive income through real estate. What started as helping loved ones purchase their first rental properties evolved into a business dedicated to helping clients acquire, manage, and grow successful real estate investments.
